Do you love beer? Then you must also love the refreshing feeling it gives out, something that starts from the very first sip and stays with you till the very end. It is served cool and can be enjoyed in any manner you prefer. But, there are some common misconceptions and mistakes that can ruin your experience of drinking even the best beer in India. What are these problems? These issues relate to the extreme temperatures at which the beer is served/stored at.
Yes, keeping the beer icy cold or room temperature warm can actually ruin the final taste you get from it. How? Here is an analysis of why you should always refuse to drink or store beer that is icy cold or warm enough.

Icy Cold Beer
Beer is a mixture and beautiful blend of flavours that originate from a variety of ingredients creating a balance amongst themselves. This blend is stored at the right temperature and inside a coloured bottle to prevent the ingredients from causing an internal reaction. Though, keeping the beer at extremely cold temperatures is not advised because when you drink it, the taste buds in your mouth will not be able to pick up on a number of flavour notes inside the beer. At icy-cold temperatures, the flavours of the malt and the hops just don’t register, as they need to be a little warmer to fully come out. This is important because the final taste of the beer comes from these 2 ingredients only.
Warm Beer
As mentioned above, raising the temperature of the beer releases flavours. The ideal temperature for serving beer, though, is around the 3-degree celsius mark. If you end up going beyond that, the beer begins to get foamier. Yes, even the most premium beer brands in India need the foam on top to stay because it enhances the drinking experience. But too much of even that may ruin your fun. On top of that, rising temperatures of the beer may cause the beer to react and skunk, which is when it becomes truly undrinkable.

The truth is that while you will taste different flavours at different temperatures, the range where that is acceptable is really small. You should remember that the difference between icy-cold beer and acceptable beer is only 3 to 4 degrees Celsius, while the difference between that and warm is only a further of 6 to 7 degrees. And yet, for the best experience, you need to keep it in the ideal temperature range, always.
