According to a new lawsuit, Jordan Belfort AKA, the Wolf of Wall Street, has unpaid debt from his time as an infamous stock broker. While he claims that his scamming days are a thing of the past and he wants to "finally close out that chapter" in his life, it appears there is still lots of collateral damage.

There has been a recently-filed lawsuit in Miami-Dade County which states that his "luxurious habits continue to be fueled by taking advantage of others."

According to the lawsuit obtained by the US press, Belfort owes Robert Posch, the owner of Superior Miami limousine service $24,000. This is an accumulation of fees charged for driving services from September 2021 through to December 2021.

Posch claimed that he offered a very tailored service and was credited by the businessman for knowing exactly what he wanted. Belfort allegedly travelled in a Cadillac Escalade, fully stocked with a cold Red Bull, a hair comb and a charging divide for his phone - just how he liked it.

"He just basically stopped paying, and I asked countless times for him to pay me," Posch tells New Times

"He pretty much used me on a daily basis," Posch says. "During Art Basel, I was going nonstop with him” he continued.

"I was still working with him until about January of this year, but then I said, 'Well, listen mister, we are four months late,'" Posch adds. "[He would respond], 'What do you worry about? I pay everyone.'"

However, Belfort has a different side to the story, claiming that the limo hire service let him down and left him and his wife at a restaurant.

"This is the biggest scam ever," Belfort adds.

“The guy gets fired because he leaves me and my wife at a restaurant and then suddenly months later he sends back bills from when I moved down here. Like, I already paid all of these invoices."

If you're searching for ‘limo hire near me’, it is incredibly important that you do your research and opt for a provider that you can trust.
