Overview

Biomedical Engineering: Current Research An open access forum is provided by Biomedical Engineering: Current Research to debate the latest developments in this subject that will solve urgent medical ailments and requirements as an alternative to artificial implants and substitutes to restore biological functions.

Biomedical engineering refers to the application of engineering theories and techniques for solving problems in biology and medicine… This is clear in every aspect of healthcare, from diagnosis and evaluation to treatment and recovery, and it has gained public attention thanks to the widespread use of implantable medical devices like pacemakers and artificial hips as well as more cutting-edge technologies like stem cell engineering and 3-D printing of biological organs.

Journal Highlights:

  • Tissue Engineering: A branch of biomedical engineering known as tissue engineering makes use of cells, engineering, materials science, and appropriate biochemical and physicochemical elements to replace, improve, or repair various biological tissue types. Tissue engineering is not just restricted to applications using cells and tissue scaffolds; it also frequently involves the utilization of cells positioned on tissue scaffolds in the development of new living tissue for medicinal purposes. It was originally thought of as a sub-field of biomaterials, but since it has expanded in importance and scope, it can now be viewed as a separate field.
  • Biophotonics: As a result, the word “biophotonics” has come to represent all techniques that deal with the interaction of biological objects with photons. This refers to the radiation that is emitted, detected, absorbed, reflected, modified, and created by biomolecular, cells, tissues, organisms, and biomaterials. Life science, medicine, agriculture, and environmental science are application areas. The distinction between applications like therapy and surgery, which primarily utilize light to convey energy, and applications like diagnostics, which use light to excite matter and transfer information back to the operator, is analogous to the distinction between “electric” and “electronics.”
  • Biosensor: A biosensor is an analytical tool that combines a biological element with a physicochemical detector and is used to identify chemicals. The sensitive biological element is a biologically derived substance or biomimetic component that interacts with, binds to, or recognizes the analyte under investigation. Examples include tissue, bacteria, organelles, cell receptors, enzymes, antibodies, nucleic acids, etc. Biological engineering can also be used to produce physiologically sensitive components. The transducer or detector element, which converts one signal into another, operates in a physicochemical manner, resulting from the interaction of the analyte with the biological element, to easily measure and quantify. Examples include optical, piezoelectric, electrochemical, electrochemiluminescence, etc.

Advantages of Publishing with us:-

  • Your essay is available on the Pulsus website for free download by anybody in the world because it is an open-access magazine.
  • You won't be rejected because of a lack of space or other problems because we are an electronic journal with no restrictions on the number or size of papers we can publish.
  • Many journals wait several months to decide on a paper after it has been submitted, which is often frustrating for authors. Peer review is typically finished by our Journal staff in 6 weeks. Therefore, waiting more than 8 weeks for a decision is extremely uncommon.
  • Many authors have discovered that the feedback from our peer reviewers significantly improves their final.

Membership is a good opportunity for researchers and scholars who publish frequently due to which our Journal provides collaboration opportunities.
