Alumina Silica Gel

The silica gel alumina with the chemical formula of mSiO2, nAl2O3, xH2O. Its adsorption capacity is comparable to that of narrow pore silica gel at low relative humidity and 6%-10% higher than that of narrow pore silica gel at high relative  humidity, with the thermal stability of 200r. The silica gel and alumina is ideally suited for high-temperature adsorbent and separating agent and mainly used in the adsorption of natural gas and separation of air and so on. Alumina silica gel is divided into two types: Type H is ordinary alumina silica gel and Type W is water-tolerant alumina silica gel.

 

Alumina Silica Gel Characteristics

H-type is mainly used to separate light hydrocarbons from natural gas, reduce the dew point of hydrocarbons, and produce natural gas gasoline. At the same time, natural gas is also dried. W-type alumina silica gel is mainly used for air drying during air separation. It is used as a liquid adsorbent in petrochemical, electrical and other industries. It is also widely recognized as a silica gel absorber, offering effective adsorption capabilities. When used as a protective layer for ordinary alumina silica gel, its dosage is about 20% of the total amount used.
