NephCure is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by rare, protein-spilling kidney diseases such as nephrotic syndrome, Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and IgA nephropathy (IgAN). Founded in 2000 by a group of committed patient parents, NephCure focuses solely on rare kidney diseases that cause excess protein loss in the urine — conditions that historically lacked research attention and effective treatments.
