Automation Anywhere Architecture

Automation Anywhere Architecture has 3 primary components

  1. Control Room
  2. Bot Creator
  3. Bot Runner

Control Room

Control room is a web-based platform that controls the Motorisation Anywhere. In other words, it’s the Server that handles Automation Anywhere crawlers.

Apart from that the control room deal with

  1. User management
  2. Source control: code for the bots is handled by the control room. So it becomes easy to share the program code across different systems.
  3. Dashboard- It provides complete analytics/results of Automation Anywhere robots. You can observe how many bots are operates and how robot failed/passed etc. is controlled.
  4. License Management: The purchased permit for Automation Anyplace are configured in the Control Space.

There are 2 types of Permit in Automation Anywhere

  1. Dev License: In case you got this license, you can create a robot, edit bot and operate a bot.
  2. RunLicense: If you have this kind of license you can run the bot and, you will not make any changes.

Bot Creator

Developers use Desktop based programs to create robots. Their dev permit are checked with that configured in the control room. On authentication, the code of the bots they create is kept in the control room. Various developers may create individual tasks/bots. These types of bots could be merged and carried out at once.

Bot Runner
The Robot Runner is the equipment where you run the bot. A person could have multiple bots running in parallel. You only need the Operate License to run the bots. The particular bots report back again the execution logs/pass/fail status back to the control room.

Automation Anywhere Training is the most demanding technology.
