The bet was placed after the sporting event had begun.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that the seven long-established Las Vegas bookmakers do not recall any further losses. However, each oddsmaker has taken a hit in past postings and said it is quite common.

ESPN reports that bets were allowed on a baseball game between South Korea and China after a manual entry error resulted in an incorrect start time being published.

Most of the approximately 50 bets were placed using self-service kiosks at the Bellagio Resort between 1:30 and 3:00 a.m. West Coast time. The matches in question began at 1:00 and 2:00 a.m.

One bet was a $250, 10-leg parlay that paid out over $137,100. A parlay is a single bet that links multiple wagers, provided they all win together.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board is investigating. The board will conduct an investigation, make a ruling, which must be followed.

Says John Murray, Westgate's sportsbook director. ‘I think probably every sportsbook since the beginning of time has dealt with this issue at some point.

‘An employee has entered the wrong time, or the wrong number, or forgotten to close something. It's manual entry, so people make mistakes.”

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Robert Walker, director of sportsbook operations for USBookmaking, was the sportsbook director for MGM Resorts from 1996 to 2008, when he was the sportsbook director for MGM Resorts, and he still has to deal with what was posted in the past. He says he is still troubled by casinobonusnet.com.

‘I still haven't gotten over the mistakes I made at Mirage 20 years ago. “There's nothing worse than seeing a bet go through in a game that's already started.

I've been beaten at halftime before. If you don't close the halftime line manually, they keep betting.

Walker said one college football bettor once made a $3,000 halftime bet on Louisiana State University late in the fourth quarter.

As soon as I saw that bet ticker in the fourth quarter,” he said, “I was floored.

While Walker went to the MGM Grand and explained his mistake to the bettor, the sportsbook locked out cashing out tickets.

‘He told them that they didn't know, that they were LSU fans. But you saw the game. ‘But it was 100 percent my mistake. They were customers of the casino, so at that point I took their side and it was a mistake I had to eat.”
