Pigeons inflict considerable aesthetic harm to buildings in numerous urban areas, becoming a significant nuisance. The accumulation of bird droppings presents serious health risks as they carry disease-causing parasites. These droppings create perilous conditions on walkways, rendering them slippery and hazardous for pedestrians. Furthermore, pigeons occupy vacant spaces, exposed rooftops, windows, balconies, heritage structures, and commercial establishments throughout the city.

Methods Of Bird Control
To tackle this problem, bird control strategies will be integrated as standard practices within the service area. This includes surveying bird resting locations in palaces and executing long-term bird control initiatives based on the data gathered. Bird control devices installed on buildings will be routinely monitored and overseen in areas prone to birds on a monthly basis. Sensitive and significant sites will undergo scheduled monitoring of bird populations to assess and implement appropriate bird pest control methods at regular intervals.

The most effective approach to bird control in the service area (palaces) entails trapping substantial numbers of pigeon-like birds using mechanical traps baited with food. This significantly diminishes the bird population in public spaces. Various bird control strategies, adhering to local regulations, encompass scaring birds away through mechanical and electronic deterrents, removing nests, cleaning and washing away droppings, and applying sterilizing agents. Additional methods include bird spikes, bird wires, electrical shocking or heating cords, and bird nets.

In Summary,
Methods that can be utilized to manage birds include: -
Removal of nests, cleaning, washing away droppings, and spraying sterilizing agents.
Bird trapping.
Bird spikes.
Bird wires.
Electrical shocking or heating cords for birds.
Bird nets.

There are effective strategies available to deter birds from certain locations, ensuring they are unsuitable for resting. This will be accomplished through three methods:
Firstly, bird spikes will be installed to inhibit birds from perching and roosting in designated areas.
Secondly, bird nets will be secured to prevent birds from nesting in specific sites.
Lastly, mass trapping will be carried out using mechanical traps that are baited with feed materials.
The initial two methods will mainly target the roosting and nesting sites of pigeons, while the trapping method will capture birds for later release into their natural habitats or for proper disposal as advised and mandated by the local Government Authorities.
