Locums treat patients just like the physician would if the doctor is out for the day or on vacation. A doctor is a fully qualified medical practitioner who has specialized over time. A locum staffing is a doctor or medical practitioner who comes from a different specialty to cover a position that is made up of a few days or a few weeks, depending on the area.
