An electromagnetic flow meter works on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction. It measures the flow of conductive liquids by generating a magnetic field inside the pipe. When the liquid passes through this magnetic field, voltage is produced. The meter detects this voltage and converts it into flow measurement.

How It Works

  • Magnetic coils create a magnetic field
  • Conductive liquid flows through the pipe
  • Electrodes detect the generated voltage
  • The transmitter calculates the flow rate

Electromagnetic flow meters are highly accurate and have no moving parts. They are widely used in water treatment, chemical, food, and industrial applications.

Benefits of Electromagnetic Flow Meter

  • High measurement accuracy
  • Low maintenance
  • No pressure drop
  • Suitable for conductive liquids
  • Long service life
