Immigration New Zealand offers many visas that permit immigrants to work in New Zealand. The work-to-residence visa is one of the greatest ways to move from a temporary work visa to a residence visa. Its objective is to enable the grant of residence visas to highly talented people who can serve the country.
In 2020, the INZ issued an amendment to the relevant immigration instructions. The changes will apply to those who have their applications for residence from work application in progress. Hopefully, the amendments may provide some flexibility for South Island Contribution work visa holders.
