Looking for a Ford Ranger for sale? There are some good reasons that drivers in Penrith and throughout NSW are choosing the Ford Ranger XLT.

Outstripping Toyota

Toyota is legendary for reliability, power, and longevity, and the 4x4 HiLux has been an Australian favourite for a while now.

It takes a lot to knock that kind of king off a throne, but that\'s just what Ford has done with the Ranger XLT. As of 2020, the Ranger was bringing in 24.9% of the ute market compared with just 21.6% for the HiLux. This alone tells you a lot about whether this ute is a good choice!

Comfort and Responsiveness

Most people agree the Ranger is a good-looking ute on the outside, but the inside is just as impressive. The XLT allows even long-legged backseat riders to travel in comfort. The seats are comfortable and supportive, and the driver has a six-way adjustable seat.

There\'s a six-speaker multimedia system with voice-activated controls that actually work, Apple and Android compatibility, digital radio, and sat-nav. The 8.0-inch touchscreen is easy to see and class-leading for ease of use. The dual-zone climate control means everyone can stay comfortable, and the two 12-volt outlets, the inverter, and the storage cubbies mean everyone can bring along their stuff and keep it charged up.

Out-of-This-World Tech

Just about everything you can imagine for a modern car is available on the XLT. With FordPass Connect, the ute talks with your smartphone, giving you alerts and the power to start or stop, lock and unlock remotely. You also get live traffic updates and a vehicle location function. You also get auto headlamps, rear parking sensors, and lots more.

Easy to Maneuver

If there\'s one big drawback to the typical ute, it\'s the size. Some of these behemoths are very hard to navigate in tight situations, and you would think the Ranger XLT would be one of those. It\'s not.

The door mirrors are huge, the power steering is ultra-responsive, and the parking sensors and reversing camera make it simple to take full advantage of the remarkable 12.7-metre turning radius.

Lots of Standard Bling

On the Ranger XLT, you get lots of nice accents and useful add-ons. In addition to all the interior tech already mentioned, you get privacy glass, a rear sports bar with a load tub light, side steps, fog lights on the front of the ute, and a full bed-liner.

The 17-inch alloy tyres, plus a full-sized spare, get you over anything (and the fully-loaded version comes with 18-inch wheels). There\'s also chrome trim everywhere, giving the Ranger a grown-up look. You also get things like rain-sensing wipers and a cooled centre console.

Choose Your Performance

The XLT is available in manual or automatic, diesel or petrol, with a 995 kg payload. There\'s a 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo Diesel paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and a fully loaded version with a 3.2-litre, six-speed automatic. You get 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, locking rear differential, 800mm of water wading clearance, and dynamic stability control with ABS.

The Ford Ranger is the best of the utes, and the XLT is the best of the best. It\'s a good choice for NSW drivers: line up a test drive and see for yourself!
