Born and raised in central Connecticut, Jared McBrearty began working at just 11 years old, taking on farm and odd jobs during the summers. By 16, he was in construction, mastering concrete work and rising through the ranks to foreman and supervisor. In 2011, he launched his first concrete business, later expanding into home renovations with a close friend—now his partner at A1 Home Improvement.
Over the past 15 years, Jared has focused on home renovation and real estate investment. Since officially joining A1 Home Improvement in 2022, he’s helped grow the company’s revenue by nearly five times and strengthen its roofing, siding, and window divisions.
An avid reader and mentor, Jared enjoys helping others reach their full potential. In 2024, he helped launch A1 Solar, combining decades of construction experience with renewable energy innovation—all while sharing his passion for building with his 11-year-old son.
