Jared McBrearty, a true Connecticut local, kicked off his work life at just 11 years old and dove into the construction scene by the time he was 16. He started out with concrete work and steadily worked his way up to foreman and supervisor, ultimately launching his own concrete business in 2011. As winter rolled in, he shifted gears to interior renovations, which led to a partnership that birthed A1 Home Improvement.
Since officially coming on board with A1 in 2022, Jared has been instrumental in boosting the company’s revenue by 4 to 5 times, all while expanding its roofing, siding, and window divisions. In 2024, they took a big step by launching A1 Solar, quickly establishing themselves as a go-to solar contractor in Connecticut.
Jared is a vital part of the team, juggling operations, sales, and mentoring, and he brings a blend of technical know-how and genuine care to everything he does. When he’s not working, you can find him playing soccer with his 11-year-old son, volunteering for addiction recovery programs, and giving back through his parish and the Knights of Columbus.
