Under this scheme, loans are provided to the farmers from the central government through banks for seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, tillage and other agricultural works. In the budget session 2018-19, it was decided to extend the benefits of this scheme to the farmers involved in animal husbandry and fish farming. Not only this, the government included the farmers of PM Kisan Yojana in 2020 so that maximum number of farmers can benefit from the Kisan credit card scheme. 14 lakh crores of loans were allocated under this scheme till 2020.

After visiting the website, search for 'Kisan credit card' or 'Kisan credit card' in the search box

After that click on the Kisan Credit Card link that appears.

Click on the form that appears and fill all the required information.

Farmers have to repay this loan through the sale of agricultural produce.
