The first medal for the Korean team at the Paris Olympics came from shooting. Park Ha-jun (KT) and Geum Ji-hyun (Gyeonggi Provincial Office), who participated in the 10m air rifle mixed event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, placed second in the main event and advanced straight to the gold medal match. and Geum Ji-hyun earned a total score of 631.4 points in the mixed 10m air rifle main event held at the CNTS shooting range in Chateauroux, France on the afternoon of the 27th (Korean time), placing them second overall after China. In the
10m air rifle mixed event at this competition, the top two teams from the main event will directly compete in the gold medal match, which is a final. The third and fourth places will advance to the bronze medal match.
In the preliminary results, China came in first with 632.2 points, followed by Korea. The gold medal match between Korea and China will be held at 5:30 p.m.
