In performing so, enzalutamide prevents the effects of these hormones in the prostate gland and also elsewhere in the body. In the year of 2006 Enzalutamide was described, and in the year of 2012 it was introduced for the treatment of prostate cancer.

Capsules of enzalutamide should be swallowed whole. Do not open, chew, or dissolve the capsules.

Side Effects: Side effects of enzalutamide are usually mild and not life threatening. The commonly reported side effects may include hot flashes, asthenia, back pain, diarrhea, and arthralgia.

Cost: The enzalutamide price in India may vary depending on the wholesaler or pharmacy and of course the brand you choose. The cost of enzalutamide ranges from around Rs. 11,500 to Rs. 27,500 for a supply of 28 capsules.
