A lifelong resident of central Connecticut, Jared McBrearty began working at just 11 years old. He entered the construction industry at 16, starting in concrete and working his way up to supervisor roles. In 2011, he launched his first concrete business and later co-founded A1 Home Improvement. By 2022, he officially joined A1 and helped grow the company’s revenue 4–5x, expanding key divisions like roofing, siding, and windows.
