This League is considered the world's most spectacular and best T20 league today. This tournament has constantly attracted fans since its inception. Many teams have made their name in the history of the tournament by performing consistently well and winning the prestigious IPL trophy several times, while some teams are still waiting to win their first trophy. A total of 17 editions of the IPL have been played so far. The tournament was first held in 2008, and since then, the tournament has been played every year. Co-owned by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, KKR has built a reputation for its aggressive batting style and potent spin bowling. Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Chennai Super Kings in 2012, Kings XI Punjab in 2014, and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2024 IPL final. Although they have not been as consistently successful as MI and CSK, their title wins have showcased their ability to perform as a cohesive unit at the most crucial times.
