Nintedanib is used to treat 3 different types of interstitial lung disease (ILD): Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, Systemic sclerosis-associated ILD, and Progressive fibrosing ILD. It's taken orally twice daily. The nintedanib cost in India is comparatively less and varies on behalf of the generic and brand-name medicines. The generic tend to cost way less than their brand-name substitutes. This medication tends to cause an upset stomach, as well as other severe side effects like liver problems and bleeding. The typical dose is nintedanib 150 mg taken 12 hours apart. Dosage will be different in case patients have liver problems. Nintedanib isn't recommended for use during pregnancy due to the risk of harm to unborn babies.
