Established in 1998, Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing is run by the Education Society for Health Activities (ESHA) and led by the respected Mr. Charanjit Singh Walia. We’re proud to be a highly regarded institution in this region. Our nursing students develop a strong identity and are recognized for their skills, both in India and abroad.
What makes us unique? Besides teaching modern nursing, we also teach about humanity and spirituality, drawing inspiration from Bhai Ghaniya ji’s teachings. This special approach helps our students become not just great nurses, but truly compassionate individuals.
Our track record speaks for itself. We've seen amazing results in our General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) diploma programs, with nearly 100% success rates and many students achieving distinctions. For example, in our September 2008 G.N.M exam, 16 out of 47 students earned a distinction, and all the others got first division. For ANM students, a remarkable 37 out of 39 achieved distinctions.
Building on this success, we started our Post Basic BSc Nursing program in 2008-2009. From the 2009-2010 academic year, we also received approval to offer the full 4-year BSc Nursing (Basic) degree, giving students even more options.

Hospital Sector 16 Chandigarh, Govt Hospital Phase VI Mohali, Civil Hospital Ropar & Kurali. We also partner with leading private hospitals like Cosmos, Indus, Shivalik, Grecian, and Chaitanya Hospital. For specialized mental health care, students train at Govt. Mental Hospital Amritsar. Plus, our students gain important Community Health Training in both rural and urban areas.
