Process of Gumasta Registration

A Gumasta license is a type of registration required to do any kind of business in the state of Maharashtra. To start any type of business in Maharashtra, entrepreneurs require a Gumasta License. This license is governed by the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai and/or the Labour Department under the Maharashtra Shops and Establishment Act, 2017. Gumasta License provides the authority to entrepreneurs to start their businesses at a particular place, area, or location that exists anywhere in Maharashtra, India.

Here are the simple steps of Gumasta Registration:

Visit the LMS Website

Go to www.lms.mahaonline.gov.in.

Register an Account

Choose to register as an individual or organization.

Enter your mobile number to receive an OTP.

Input the OTP you receive.

Provide your email address and required details.

Create a password and submit the form.

Check your email (including the spam folder) for an activation link.

Click the link to complete your registration.

Log In

Use your registered email and password to log in to the LMS website.

Select the "New Registration for Shops and Establishment" service.

Choose "Registration - Form A," fill out the form, and submit it.

Note the application ID provided after submission for future reference.

Upload Required Documents

Check your application status; if prompted, upload the necessary documents.

Use the "Browse" function to select and upload files from your device.

Make Payment

If payment is required, click on the payment option.

Choose your preferred payment method and complete the transaction.

Monitor Application Status

The status will change to "Under Scrutiny" during the review process.

Regularly check for updates to see if it's "Approved" or "Rejected."

Respond to Rejections (If Any)

If rejected, read the instructions in the email sent to you.

Make the necessary corrections or provide additional information as requested.

Re-submit your application and any required documents.

Download Your Registration Certificate

Once approved, the status will show "Completed." Click "Download Certificate" to get your registration certificate, or check your email for a copy.
