The Health and Social Care (HSC) quality standards are part of a larger framework aimed at improving the quality of health and social care services delivered to the Northern Irish people. Encourages effective governance and best practices in health and social care. The quality criteria were introduced on March 14, 2006.

To accomplish this, we must take a more comprehensive look at how health and social care reflect excellent service performance. There are several standards that build on and augment existing ones.
