Romano Fosters Rumors of a Transfer After Receiving Money

The soccer media "World Soccer Talk" reported on the 2nd (Korea time) that Romano was involved in Denmark\'s shocking transfer scandal. According to the media, Romano has been under persistent attack by the Danish media that he has been receiving money from the player\'s spokesperson or club and igniting rumors of a transfer. 스포츠토토

Romano is an Italian journalist who plays for Cut Offside, an English football media outlet. He has built a reputation by announcing big transfer rumors several times, and he is especially famous by using the trademark phrase "Here We Go" as a given.

He is famous for his active activities regardless of various SNS and media platforms.

Currently, his Instagram followers are 27 million, YouTube subscribers are 2 million, and X (former Twitter) has 20 million followers. Therefore, whenever he discloses the transfer of a player on SNS, his influence is incomparable to that of other reporters, as many people encounter the information and make it a hot topic.

However, Romano\'s reputation is expected to be greatly damaged by allegations that he moved for the private interests of players or clubs for money.

This suspicion ignited in earnest when Romano recently revealed the situation of Swedish prospect and FC Copenhagen midfielder Rooney Vardage in Denmark\'s Super League on his SNS.

"Bardaji is one of the most talented players in Europe. However, he will play for only 0 minutes in 2024," Romano said on April 29.

At the time, he revealed that Bardaji did not want to renew his contract with the club and reported that Copenhagen was not playing him as an indirect disciplinary action.

Copenhagen, however, flatly denied Romano\'s claim. World Soccer Talk released the remarks of Tröls Bagher Togersen, editor-in-chief of the famous Danish media outlet Tippsbladet, saying Romano and his team will be under intense scrutiny.

"The Romano division tried to push for a sponsorship deal between the clubs," Togersen said. "The club paid Romano on condition that he mentioned (the player, etc.) on his social media." According to Togersen, the spokesman for the player is deeply involved in the controversy over Vardaji.

As a supporting information, soccer reporter Charles Bohm revealed the specific price Romano requires from the club or players. According to Bohm, Romano receives up to 1,100 dollars (about 1.46 million won) for a single mention on SNS. Video shoots are up to 6,000 dollars (about 8 million won) per case.

"Romano is supported like a god on social media," Togersen said. "All I can say is that Romano listens to the player\'s agent and plays the role of loudspeaker to open it to the public." "In the case of this Bardaji incident, the player seems to have used Romano to put pressure on Copenhagen. This can never be seen as a match for the spirit of a reporter," he said.

"(The project that Romano is believed to be carrying out) is an act that the club and the agent want to pay to make a name for themselves, and this is not the right attitude of a journalist. We have something to learn from this incident. What seems to be the media is actually intertwined in commercial interests," he said, showing a sharp attitude.

Romano, meanwhile, is currently silent about the fact and is reportedly refusing interview requests from Danish media outlets.
