Spine tumor can occur at any age, but it's most common in adults between the ages of 50 and 80. The vast majority of these tumors (about 90%) are benign, and are usually detected when they cause some type of pain or discomfort that gets worse over time. It can be challenging to distinguish them from cancers of the spine, which are much less common (about 10% of spine tumors). Because these tumors can cause so much pain and other symptoms, doctors will do their best to remove them quickly through surgery if possible.

What I Had in My Mind?

When I was first diagnosed with a spine tumor, I was scared. I didn't know what would happen to me or if I would be able to live a normal life. But I managed to get through it thanks to my family and friends' support. I am cancer-free today and enjoying life to the fullest. Here are some things that helped me survive and lead a normal life

What I Experienced?

It was two years ago when I was diagnosed with a spine tumor. At first, I was in denial and didn't want to believe it. But after the biopsy results came back, I knew I had to face it head on. Treatment was tough, but I'm grateful to be alive today. Here are some things that helped me get through it and how I'm living a normal life despite my diagnosis.

Take good care of oneself by exercising and eating healthfully.Keep a positive attitude - even if you have bad days, this can make all the difference! Live your life to the fullest and don't let anything stop you from doing what you love! Don't give up. You can live with cancer! Know your body well enough so you know what your limits are - stay within them! The journey is just as important as the destination; enjoy every moment of it while appreciating what's important to you.

How Treatment Helped?

I was diagnosed with a spine tumor in 2014. Treatment was long and difficult, but it was worth it. I'm now cancer-free and living a normal life. Here's how treatment helped me

The doctors from Spine Tumor Surgery Hospital in Coimbatore took out the tumor so it wouldn't hurt my nerves or muscles. It was hard to move around at first, but now I can do all the things I used to do before the surgery - like hiking, biking, and gardening. My outlook is positive because of the help from friends and family. Finally, getting cancer has taught me to live every day as if it were my last.

Where I am now?

I am writing this post from my hospital bed, where I have been for the past few weeks. I was diagnosed with a spine tumor a few months ago and have been going through treatment since then. I am happy to say that the tumor is now gone and I am on the road to recovery.

My Advice

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with a spine tumor, don't lose hope. Here are five pieces of advice that helped me survive and lead a normal life

Make sure your tumor is well-controlled before undergoing any surgical procedure; Do not drink alcohol if it's affecting your liver function; Get plenty of rest when the treatment makes you tired; Keep in touch with family and friends who can provide emotional support; Be an advocate for yourself.
