Cenforce Professional is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains the active ingredient sildenafil citrate, which is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Sildenafil citrate works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, helping men achieve and maintain an erection. It does this by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5), which normally breaks down a substance called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). By inhibiting PDE5, sildenafil allows cGMP to accumulate, leading to relaxation of the smooth muscles in the penile blood vessels and increased blood flow to the penis.
