The current MT 2K23 will buy all of the Morant stock. Morant has a better layup rate than Kyrie Irving and is able to dunk overall as Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon. Morant's speed ranks second among the point guards after Russell Westbrook and De'Aaron Fox. Morant has 30 2K badges. Of the top 10 shooting guards Bane's defensive rating is lower that Bradley Beal, C.J. McCollum and Tyler Herro.

Brandon Clarke was one of the Grizzlies"unknown heroes" in the past, however "NBA 2K23" isn't quite as popular. Although he scored a high inside shot score (92) his post scoring hook, fade and control are all under 65. The game doesn't have any rating for shots like Clarke's signature floater therefore Clarke has little to offer aside from dunks.

The game may have over-exaggerated Steven Adams' rebounding attributes. He finished second to Andre Drummond in offensive rebounding but was ranked 52nd  NBA 2K MT in defensive rebounding.
