Since time immemorial, humans have been fascinated by the mysteries of the unknown. Whether it is ancient folklore and myths or contemporary films of detective stories and thrillers, mystery has always held an important place in our psyche. While we are afraid of things that are unknown to us, we are also attracted to them. But why do we love good mystery games? Why does the human brain have such an affinity for solving mysteries or engaging in murder mystery games? 

It lies in our brain functioning, evolutionary past, and the physiological pleasure of getting to know the truth. This paper examines the profound psychological aspects that make us adore being detective and why interactive entertainment is such a great way to satisfy the human brain.
