There have been a tonne of new restaurants opening up in Dubai recently, so it appears that my previous roundups are out of date. Nevertheless, I've put together a new and improved list of my favourite Italian restaurants in Dubai. Some of the older establishments have closed, while others have been replaced by completely new concepts. Since my previous round-up, more well-known chefs have actively participated in the varied Dubai food scene, which is exciting because it provides us more alternatives and some unique meals.
We ordered a few items to share as starters because they are the ideal place to begin your Italian culinary adventure.
Fish frittata with steamed broccoli
Crispy yet delicate were the several fried fish dishes with calamari, prawns, soft shell crab, and zucchini. The serving was extremely substantial and ideal for sharing a couple starters between two persons or even a group. Wonderful option for seafood lovers.
Salad of tomatoes, basil, and Pugliese burrata is
Every foodie should have burrata pugliese, an Italian delicacy, at least once. It practically melted in our mouths due to its softness and creaminess. Every day, Bussola imports fresh burrata from Italy.
First Course: Primi
Ricotta and spinach ravioli with burro alla salvia, croccanti cardoncelli, and neo tartufo
Pasta fans will undoubtedly savour this elegant spaghetti. The handcrafted ricotta and spinach ravioli are served with black truffles and wild mushrooms. I could immediately smell the truffles because the flavour is quite delicate. I wholeheartedly endorse this vegetarian dish.
Secondi. Mains sGrigliata Fish stew with blue gamberi, carabineros, orata, calamari, and polpo.
If you enjoy fish, you should get this plate of Mediterranean seafood that has been grilled.
Dolci. Desserts
Desserts in Italian cuisine come in a wide range and vary from region to region. The well-known tiramisu, genuine gelato, and a large selection of pastries are all available at Bussola.
Traditional Tiramisu from the Bussola
The classic layered mousse was amazing and incredibly soft! With this dish that has a coffee flavour, you can never go wrong.
Did you know that the English equivalent of the Italian phrase "tiramisu" is "carry me up" or "cheer me up"?
Crostatina with Amalfi lemons
Choose the pastry filled with baked merengue, citrus sorbet, and Amalfi lemon curd if you prefer a fruity flavour.
It had incredible looks, even greater flavour, and subtle flavours that were completely in harmony.
