Vanderhall is an American manufacturer specializing in the creation of these little three-wheeled “toys” that delight lovers of the motor world during a “track day”. Although its models are not sold in the old continent, for our readers who live in North America it is a brand to take into account compared to other alternatives such as Polaris and its Slingshot.
The latest creation of the guys from Vanderhall is called Venice, and it will be the new access model to its range both for features and endowment and, obviously, price . . For those who are looking for a model of this nature but do not want to spend a large amount of money, without a doubt it will be a very interesting option.
The new Vanderhall Venice hits the market with the aim (according to the company) of offering open-air driving pleasure for a more “reasonable” price. And it is that, let us remember, that to date, the Laguna was the access model to the Vanderhall range and its price starts from $49,950 (€47,850). One of the main factors that have allowed Vanderhall to reduce the price of Venice with respect to the rest of the models in its range is the use of panels that wrap the aluminum chassis. For example, the Laguna uses carbon fiber.
On the other hand, and with regard to the standard equipment of the Vanderhall Venice, the truth is that we are not talking about a very exuberant endowment, however, it has elements such as a 600-watt BT sound system, 18-inch wheels, ABS, braking assistant, Bluetooth connection and a heating system.
Added to all this are the exterior elements mentioned above, such as the headlights, the finishes for the grille, and other details. Another detail to keep in mind about Venice is that it has a ‘trunk' with a load capacity of 75 liters. It is not excessive, but if we take into account the use that can be given to this vehicle, it is more than a reasonable figure.
And what about the mechanical section? The new Vanderhall Venice is powered by a 1.4-liter four-cylinder General Motors turbocharged engine that puts out about 200 hp. And all this with a weight of only 624 kilograms. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to this set of factors, the little Venice is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 210 km/h.
Currently, the Vanderhall Venice can already be reserved upon payment of a deposit of $250 (€240). The total price of the “little guy” is $29,950 (€28,656). It will be available, for the moment, in three colors: Metallic Black, Pearl White, and Metallic Grey.
