What are the first aid qualifications in the UK?

Emergency first aid at work (EFAW) training enables a first-aider to provide emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill on the job.

First aid at work certificates are valid for three years. To obtain another three-year certificate, first-aiders must complete a requalification course before their certificates expire. When a first aider’s certificate expires, he or she is no longer qualified to act as a workplace first aider.
