A4-80 Hex Bolts Manufacturing Process

a316 and 316L stainless steels are commonly used in the production of A4-80 hex bolts. Nuts and bolts can withstand temperatures between 450 and 850 degrees Celsius. Carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, molybdenum, nickel, copper, and nitrogen are just some of the elements that can be found in A4-80 stainless bolts. The mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of stainless steel bolt grade A4-80 are achieved through this material composition. The required minimum tensile strength can differ from one material to another. A4-80 stainless steel bolt has a Rockwell hardness of 95HR B and a Brinell hardness of 217HB. Different types of fasteners, such as A4-80 threaded rods and screws, are part of this selection. These nuts and screws have an excellent thermal conductivity. A4-80 hex nuts are dimensionally flexible, have good electrical resistance, and come in a wide range of sizes. Their typical diameter falls between 6 and 30 millimeters. Such uses are also common in fields where stress and strain are paramount, such as in aerospace engineering, military hardware, and chemical processing plants. Screws of marine grade 316 stainless steel are resistant to salt solutions and brines because molybdenum is added to an alloy of chromium and nickel. Socket head cap screws made from grade 316 stainless steel have superior corrosion resistance compared to grade 304. These self-drilling screws are more expensive because they are made of grade 316 stainless steel, which contains molybdenum.

Fasteners made from A4-80 stainless steel are a subset of stainless steel fasteners. Applications requiring high levels of corrosion resistance often employ steels of the austenitic stainless steel type denoted by the "A4" designation. The minimum tensile strength of the fastener is indicated by the number "80"; this value is typically around 800 MPa. Because of their high resistance to corrosion, stainless steel fasteners can be used in places where they might be exposed to water, chemicals, or other corrosive substances. Boats, offshore structures, and coastal construction are just some of the many uses for the A4 grade, which is widely regarded for its exceptional resistance to corrosion in marine and coastal environments. Bolts, screws, nuts, washers, and threaded rods are just a few examples of the many types of fasteners made from A4-80 stainless steel.
