Nearly everyone appreciates charity's value. Many religions have a strong foundation in altruism. These include Christianity, Judaism, Islam's Zakat (2.5% one's total wealth), Buddhism’s Dana (the general concept of charity and generosity) and Christianity. All of them have their donation collection.

Beyond the obvious desire to help charity, what are other reasons to donate? Why is charity so important? It may seem easy to believe charity is important. However, it is crucial to take action. To make the world a better place, I will highlight three reasons charity is essential. It can aid people in need, improve our health and, ultimately, make the world more fair.

Three Reasons Why Charity Should Be Donated

1. Charity helps people in need

Global poverty, non-human animal cruelty, and other social inequalities cause immense suffering. What can we do to make a difference for those less fortunate than ourselves? What does it mean "to do the right thing" or "to be a good citizen"? These questions are not limited to ivory-tower philosophers. Many people place great importance on the ability to create ethical, happy, and fulfilling lifestyles.

2. Charity can improve your well-being

It is a wonderful way to feel happy. This is a great way to feel that warm glow. It's the same feeling you get when you help a friend, neighbor, or coworker. Charity is not just for the well-off. This sentence is being read by you. You can make a difference in the lives and lives of others. It's a win-win situation.

3. Charity can make the world a better place

You are probably among the top 10% worldwide earners if you're reading this article, and you're working. You might be among the top 10%, or even higher.

It is possible to not feel wealthy. This is normal. Instagram photos may show famous people living in Canary Wharf, or driving sports cars. You may not have the same wealth as them. You are likely to be closer to them financially than the most economically disadvantaged members of the global populace.

It is vital to support global charity. It can be difficult for people who are worthy to be heard within economic and political institutions.

This is evident in the non-human animal population. Both are deserving and not eligible for traditional decision-making bodies. Trillions of people are killed each year to feed their families. Many of these people are in poor health, and they are part of factory farming including chickens, fish, and pigs.

Another example of a disenfranchised species is the future generation of human beings. The future population of humans will depend on our actions today. This could be hundreds of thousands, millions or even billions of people over the next few years. We must prevent all forms of catastrophe from taking over the planet. These are known as existential threats. These include nuclear war and man-made pandemics.
