In recent industrial manufacturing projects, I’ve noticed a clear shift toward using engineering plastics instead of traditional metal components. For many applications, plastics offer advantages such as lighter weight, corrosion resistance, and easier processing, while still meeting strength requirements.


PA6 (Nylon 6) is one of the most commonly used materials due to its balanced mechanical properties and good processability. In more demanding environments, modified PA6, such as high-impact or thermally conductive grades, is often selected to improve durability or heat management.
