You might envision pool parties, barbecues, and other summertime activities when you think of your Patios New Braunfels space. By the end of September, you probably shut down your pool, but that doesn’t mean the rest of your patio space has to be off-limits through the fall and winter. As long as the winter weather is moderate, you can keep using your fire pit. While we don’t advise holding your holiday or winter party outside in a storm, if you consider your fire pit to be an outdoor fireplace area, you may continue to enjoy it all year long. Here are some suggestions for your autumn or winter fire pit party:
Keep your visitors toasty.
When it’s cold outside, a fire pit greatly improves the atmosphere and comfort of an outdoor gathering. People huddle together around fires to stay warm, but more factors than just fire heat can determine your guests’ comfort. Give your visitors blankets to cuddle up in, and cover the terrace with outdoor rugs. Encourage visitors to bring their own warm clothing (such as scarves, hats made of wool, and gloves or mittens), but keep extras on hand just in case. We can assist if you already have these things but need outdoor furniture. Browse online at Ultimate Patios for patio dining furniture in the Montgomery and Chester County locations.
Make the appropriate refreshments.
You can satiate your guests with hot toddies, tea, coffee, chocolate, and other hot beverages during a winter event, just as lemonade, iced tea, or beer can hit the mark on a hot day during an outdoor summer gathering. Hot soup is a no-brainer if you’re planning a complete outdoor meal, and marshmallows or chestnuts roasted over an open fire will make the ideal after-dinner dessert.
Organize entertainment to create the ideal atmosphere.
As always, the type of party you’re organising will have a significant impact on how you keep your guests occupied. Any activity, from singing along to watching a movie, is best done with a group gathered around a fire.
