Zhewitra 60 mg is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains the active ingredient vardenafil, which is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Zhewitra 60 works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, helping men achieve and maintain an erection. Vardenafil inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). By doing so, it increases levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), leading to the relaxation of smooth muscles in the blood vessels of the penis. This relaxation allows for increased blood flow, facilitating an erection.
