Want a new hairstyle without ruining your natural hair? Chances are, you've tossed up between crochet hair extensions and wear-and-go wigs. I've tried both—Burmese crochet hair and a glueless Burmese curly wig—and I'm here to spill the tea. No fancy talk, just my real experiences to help you pick what's best for YOU.

My Experience with Burmese Crochet Hair: Long-Lasting but Needs Time

Let's start with Burmese curly crochet hair. I got the crochet hair extensions 'cause I wanted thick, curly hair that didn't look fake. The hair's soft, with tight, bouncy curls—so real, my friend thought I'd gotten a perm! Installing takes about 2 hours, though. I gotta braid my natural hair into cornrows first, then use a crochet hook to loop the hair in.

But once it's in? It lasts 4-8 weeks! I loved not removing it every day—just wrap it in a scarf at night. The downside? If you forgot to oil the scalp, it will get itchy. Installing it takes too much time.

My Thoughts on Wear-and-Go Wigs: Quick and Easy

Then I tried a Burmese curly wear-and-go glueless wig, and it saved my mornings. This thing's a lifesaver—no lace cutting, no glue, just slap it on, adjust the band, secure the combs, and tighten the drawstring. Takes only a few minutes, perfect for those days I'm running late (which is most days).

The curls are just as soft as the natural hair, and the hairline looks so natural—it's like it's growing from my scalp. I love switching styles whenever I want: one day I wear a Burmese curly hair wig, the next I rock a kinky straight one. I gotta take it off every night, a little annoying, when I'm tired.

Which One Should You Choose?

It all boils down to your lifestyle. Hate styling hair daily and want something that lasts? Go for crochet hair extensions. It's great for busy weeks, and it protects your natural hair from heat and damage. But if you love switching looks and need something quick? The wear-and-go wig's better.

For me? I use all, both are good—no need to splurge. Just pick what makes you feel comfy and confident. At the end of the day, hair's supposed to be fun, not stressful!
