My Travel Experience in Mount Abu
Here’s a brief overview of the places I covered in my vlog:
1. Nakki Lake – The Heart of Mount Abu
Nakki Lake is the main attraction in Mount Abu and also one of the most romantic spots in Rajasthan. Surrounded by lush greenery and rocky hills, this lake offers boating experiences with stunning views. Legend says the lake was dug out by gods using their nails (nakh), hence the name Nakki.
In the vlog, I captured both the calm morning vibes and the lively evening atmosphere of Nakki Lake. Paddle boating here was one of the highlights, especially with the backdrop of hills and open skies.
2. Toad Rock – Nature’s Art
Just a short hike from Nakki Lake, Toad Rock is a fascinating rock formation that looks like a toad ready to jump into the lake. It’s a popular viewpoint where you get a panoramic view of Mount Abu and Nakki Lake.
The climb is easy and suitable even for beginners. In the video, I show how to reach Toad Rock and share tips to capture the perfect photo from the top.
3. Guru Shikhar – The Highest Peak in Rajasthan
Guru Shikhar is the highest point of the Aravalli Range and Rajasthan. It offers a mesmerizing view of the surrounding landscape, making it a must-visit spot for anyone coming to Mount Abu.
At the top, there’s a temple dedicated to Guru Dattatreya. The drive up to Guru Shikhar is thrilling, with beautiful valleys, dense forest patches, and fresh mountain air. The vlog shows the entire route and my experience at the summit.

How to Reach Mount Abu
Mount Abu is easily accessible from major cities:
- By Road: Regular buses and taxis are available from Udaipur (165 km) and Ahmedabad (220 km).
- By Train: The nearest station is Abu Road, 28 km from the town.
- By Air: The closest airport is in Udaipur.
