Welcome to an amazing adventure across Nepal\'s Manaslu Circuit\'s wild landscape and rich cultural heritage. Come along with us as we pull on our boots, embrace the spirit of exploration, and set out on a fantastic hiking journey around the world\'s eighth-highest peak.
The gateway to the Himalayas is the lively town of Arughat, where we embark on our trip and walk on the fabled routes that round the high peaks of the Manaslu region. As we set off on what looks to be an amazing and demanding trek, there is a sense of expectancy in the air due to the Himalayan giants towering in the distance.
Trekking through Pristine Landscapes: The pristine splendour of the Himalayan nature envelops us as we make our way across the untamed territory of the Manaslu Circuit. Every step you take exposes a different aspect of this magnificent terrain, which ranges from deep forests and terraced farmland to isolated mountain communities and alpine meadows.
High Mountain Passes: Climbing over the challenging Larkya La Pass, a mountain pass that is more than 5,100 metres (16,732 feet) above sea level, is the high point of our journey. We are rewarded with expansive, all-encompassing views of glaciated valleys and snow-capped peaks as we climb to the pass\'s lofty heights.
Moments of Reflection: We find times of calm introspection and reflection amid the Himalayan peace. We are reminded of the great beauty and strength of nature by the surrounding towering peaks and wide-open spaces of the alpine landscape.
Cultural Encounters: We come across the many customs and cultures of the local indigenous populations as we travel the trail. We immerse ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of the Manaslu region, from the traditional Gurung and Tamang villages to historic monasteries and prayer flags floating in the breeze.
