After a three-week break, Bucheon FC1995 will face their first opponent in June.

Bucheon will travel to Gwangyang Football Stadium on Saturday, June 15 at 7 p.m. to take on the Jeonnam Dragons in the 17th round of the Hana Bank K League 2 2024.

Bucheon has been on a good run of form throughout May, recording two wins and two draws in their last two matches. In particular, the last match before the break, a 3-0 victory in Round 15, coupled with Lupeta's first multi-goal game in the league and Kim Hyun-yup's first clean sheet in his debut, gave fans plenty to look forward to.

In their last 10 matches against Jeonnam, Bucheon have recorded four wins, two draws and four losses in a tightly contested series. In the last meeting, in round 11, Basani had a good performance, 안전놀이터 scoring a goal and providing two assists.

Bucheon currently sits in eighth place in the league, but a win in this round could see them move up to fourth. With the battle for the mid-table spots fierce, the team needs to continue their current momentum and finish high.

That's where the two foreign strikers come into play. Basani and Lupeta.

The duo has been the centerpiece of Bucheon's recent surge. Bassani and Lupeta are first and second on the team in offensive points (Bassani with 6 points (3 goals, 3 assists) and Lupeta with 5 points (4 goals, 1 assist), respectively), and their performances in the aforementioned Round 11 and Round 15 matches were also notable.

Meanwhile, the squad continued to work hard in training during the break. They are determined to capitalize on the momentum and continue their upward trend.

"It's a bit unfortunate that we had a long break after such a good atmosphere, but we are preparing as best we can for this important period. We will definitely win the upcoming Round 17 so that we can wash away the regrets of the last match," he said, expressing his determination to win this match.
