Jared McBrearty hails from Connecticut and has spent the majority of his life in the heart of the state, building a career that’s all about determination and growth. He kicked off his work life at just 11 years old, taking on odd jobs and farm work, and by 16, he was diving into the construction world with concrete work. As the years went by, he climbed the ranks to become a foreman and supervisor, picking up invaluable leadership skills along the way.

In 2011, Jared took a big step and launched his own concrete construction business. When the winter months slowed things down, he teamed up with a close friend—who is now his partner at A1 Home Improvement—to branch out into interior renovations. Over the last 15 years, he’s shifted his focus toward home renovations and property investments, especially house flipping.

Since joining A1 Home Improvement in 2022, Jared has played a key role in boosting the company’s revenue by four to five times while also enhancing the roofing, siding, and window divisions. He’s involved in marketing, sales, and operational improvements, and he loves mentoring others. He also helped kickstart A1 Solar, which has become a trusted solar contractor in Connecticut. Outside of work, Jared is a dedicated father, an active member of his community, and passionate about giving back through his faith and charitable efforts.
