Born and raised in central Connecticut, Jared McBrearty learned the value of hard work early—starting at age 11 with farm work and odd jobs. By 16, he was in construction, mastering concrete and advancing to foreman and supervisor roles. In 2011, he launched his first concrete business, later expanding into home renovations with a close friend who became his A1 Home Improvement partner.
Over the past 15 years, Jared has evolved into home renovation and property investments, focusing on buying, remodeling, and selling homes. Since officially joining A1 Home Improvement in 2022, he’s helped increase revenue 4–5 times and expand key divisions in roofing, siding, and windows.
Passionate about mentorship, innovation, and continuous learning, Jared brings leadership that inspires growth. In 2024, he helped launch A1 Solar, now one of Connecticut’s most trusted solar contractors—combining decades of construction experience with a vision for a brighter, sustainable future.
