Michael S. O'Neil, a practicing Christian and a former Department of the Army civilian, has finally written his powerful, deeply personal account of how faith, strength, and resiliency had sustained him under conditions of challenge, in ways most unprecedented.
The book records a period working in a senior role under the U.S. Army Pacific Command in Hawaii to a fierce spokesman for the truth and freedom. He also speaks about his suffering of job loss, being homeless, lacking financial support after he refused to get a COVID vaccine and how he recovered from the impact of all these.
What this book is, in fact, much more than a narrative of O’Neil’s experience – is an invitation to think critically and actively resist the hegemonic discourses to search for the truth and to stay true to one’s principles, even if it is the final thing one can do. Moral courage empowers individuals to stand by their principles, challenge the status quo, and rely on faith to overcome adversity, uniting readers from all backgrounds.
"Faith Over Fear: “Forged through Fire”: A Conversation between the work and the past few years for O’Neil, his friends and the nation as a whole. The book is heart-warming and inspiring calling for hope amidst despair due to adversity and a reminder that there is a always hope in today’s world.
