Inconel 718 and 625 are nickel based super alloys that are known for their robustness and reliability in harsh industrial applications. Although these two grades are resistant to corrosion and high temperature their use can be very different depending on their mechanical properties.

Inconel 718 bolts are made from Inconel 718, a nickel based super alloy that offers corrosion resistance and high strength even at elevated temperatures. Therefore, they are highly suitable for aerospace, power plant and chemical processing applications. Inconel 718 Bolts, being able to work both in wet and dry conditions, guarantee safety beyond compare even when they are exposed to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals. What differentiates Inconel 718 most from other materials is its considerable enhancement in corrosion resistance. This feature makes bolt ideal in tough environments. When the metal is exposed to air it produces an oxide film that shields it from further corrosion. A characteristic like this is important particularly when fasteners have to endure extremely high temperatures and other harmful conditions.

Inconel 625 Bolts are the prime choice when it comes to usage in severe temperature and environmental conditions especially in the aircraft and aerospace sectors. A bolt of this type is composed of Inconel 625 which is a nickel chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and niobium  making it not only incredibly strong but also highly resistant to corrosion even when exposed to very high temperatures. The major benefit of Inconel 625 bolts is their superior tensile strength which can enable their usage in situations that require high strength and high durability. They can withstand significant loads and stresses. Moreover, the excellent corrosion resistance feature of Inconel 625 Bolts renders them the best choice for use in the most challenging environments such as those of offshore installations or oil rigs.
