Jared McBrearty’s story is one of determination and steady growth, rooted in his lifelong home of central Connecticut. He began working at just 11 years old, taking on odd jobs and spending summers picking vegetables on a local farm. By 16, he entered the construction world through concrete work, eventually rising to foreman and later supervisor roles across several companies.
In 2011, Jared launched his first business focused on concrete construction. When winter slowed work, he expanded into interior renovations with a close friend who later became a co-owner of A1 Home Improvement. Over the past 15 years, Jared gradually transitioned into home renovation and property investments, especially house flipping. After officially joining A1 Home Improvement in 2022, he helped grow the company’s revenue by 4–5 times while strengthening its roofing, siding, and window divisions.
Jared’s wide-ranging contributions include marketing, sales, and improving installation procedures. He’s passionate about mentoring and personal development and often prefers reading over watching TV.
In 2023, he helped launch A1 Solar, now a trusted solar contractor in Connecticut. Outside of work, Jared enjoys soccer with his 11-year-old son and stays active in his parish, the Knights of Columbus, and charitable efforts supporting individuals battling addiction.
