Steps to Change Bigpond Email Server POP to IMAP

Sometimes, users get annoyed when they detect that Bigpond email is not operating with ease. This can happen with ease if POP is incorrectly configured to IMAP. If the existing POP setting is creating issues, then the best way is to configure it to the IMAP setting: -

Create Backup of The Email: Begin by taking a backup of the email. The instructions for backup are readily available on the guidelines given by the email client. Configure Email Account with IMAP setting: please configure IMAP settings to your email and use new credentials along with emailTransfer Your Email to the IMAP account: Now shift all the emails that exist in the POP account to the IMAP account. Deactivate POP Account: After that, kindly deactivate the POP account from the email client-server and confirm that it doesn’t link to the server. Check the Email Processing and Operation: Now check whether the email you have set up from POP to IMAP is operating well or not.
