A good politician in Coimbatore is one who is competent at making judgments, is determined to work for the greater good, is willing to handle and remedy situations, and most importantly, is willing to stand up for what is right. A political leader should not be concerned with his or her position, authority, or power. He should always strive for the advancement of society and value his citizenry. Each political leader should be endowed with the talents and research capabilities necessary to analyse and act strategically in the future. An effective leader should exemplify the following five characteristics: discipline, trustworthiness, courage, humanity, and intelligence.
