Andersen is a Healthcare Software Development Company that has long earned a reputation in healthcare, logistics, fintech, media & entertainment, automotive, and other domains. Apart from its high-quality services and expertise in various areas of information technology, this software provider is known for its friendly attitude to its employees and willingness to offer humanitarian aid to those who need assistance. Today, with the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine, it’s vitally important to help people who have suffered the most.

Andersen and Ukraine

Andersen has a strong bond with Ukraine. In February, more than eight hundred IT professionals were working for the company in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Odesa. Many of them were forced to either relocate abroad or to a safer place in their homeland. The company is doing its best to provide them with any legal and financial help. More than $2,000,000 has already been allocated to Ukrainian employees and more than 100 new vacancies have been created for their family members who have lost their jobs due to the war. Thus, the company that was ranked first as the Best IT Employer in Ukraine in 2021 now proves that such a high ranking was not a coincidence.

Andersen Charity campaign

Apart from helping its employees, Andersen, with the support of its partners, leads humanitarian activity to help Ukrainians across the country. The company has recently launched the ANDERSEN CHARITY campaign. As part of it, it has started a fundraiser to provide Cherkasy Regional Oncological Dispensary with three new bedside patient monitoring devices of the UTAS type that cost 300,000 UAH. Such monitors control heart rate, arterial tension, SpO2, temperature, and ECG.

The dispensary staff is currently under increased workload as doctors perform 22-27 operations a day. Healthcare professionals receive patients not only from Cherkasy. People from Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Irpin, Donetsk, Luhansk, and other affected cities are also treated here.

Any financial help is welcome under these circumstances. If you wish to donate, follow this link.

It is not the first time the company has been involved in healthcare-related charity. Back in 2020, Andersen allocated $10,000 to Minsk doctors fighting COVID-19.

Andersen community and cultural life

Another way to raise funds is by organizing cultural events to support Ukrainians. The most favourable conditions for that are in new Andersen offices that welcome employees from different locations and new staff members. Thus, Andersen specialists working in Poland, Lithuania, and other countries are helping their Ukrainian colleagues with housing and various relevant issues.

Another example is Georgia. Many employees, including Ukrainians, have relocated to Tbilisi, Batumi, and other cities and are willing to build a strong IT community there. People forced to leave their countries have already found their new homes. Nevertheless, adaptation to new living conditions is not easy for everyone, especially those deprived of peaceful life against their will. Now, they perfectly know what homesickness is, worry about their motherland that is still suffering, and feel an ardent desire to help even being abroad. For these people, Andersen is hosting IT-Spring Party. This charity concert is held on May 14 at the Underwheel club in Tbilisi. Its main objectives are fundraising for Ukraine and building a circle of friends with common interests, aspirations, and aims. One of the headliners is Sergiy Babkin, a well-known Ukrainian musician and actor.

Andersen is notable for its friendly spirit. Nobody is left alone with their problems here. The company stands with Ukraine and will keep organizing medical supplies and raising money for the people of this country.
