  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

How to prepare Pineapple fritters:

  1. Take a bowl and sift flour and baking powder into the bowl.
  2. Then add cardamom powder, and milk and mix it well till it makes a smooth or lump-free batter.
  3. Take a large pan and add oil to it.
  4. When heated up the oil dip one slice of pineapple and gently put it into the hot oil.
  5. Deep fry from both sides till it turns crispy and golden.
  6. Transfer these fritters to the paper towel.
  7. Dust powdered sugar and cinnamon powder all over the fritters.

Ingredients required for Moong Dal Dhokla Recipe:

 

For The Moong Dal Dhokla Batter
3/4 cup yellow moong dal
1 tsp. roughly chopped green chillies

 Salt to taste
1 1/2 tsp. sugar

 A pinch of asafoetida

 1 tbsps. oil

 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder

 1 tbsp. besan

 2 tbsp curds (Dahi)
1 1/2 tsp fruit salt

 

For the tempering:

1 tbsp. oil

½ tbsp. Mustard seeds

½ tbsp. sesame seeds

A pinch asafoetida

2 tsp finely chopped green chillies

For the garnish:

 

1 tbsp. finely chopped coriander leaves

1 tbsp. grated coconut

 

For the serving moong dal dhokla:

Green chutney

 

How to prepare Moong dal dhokla:

 

  1. Firstly soak the yellow moong dal in enough water for 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Take a blender and mix the yellow moong dal and green chillies add half a cup of water and blend it well till well combined and make a smooth paste.
  3. Transfer this paste into the bowl and add salt according to taste, sugar, asafoetida, oil, turmeric powder, besan, and curds mix it well combined and make a smooth batter.
  4. Then sprinkle fruit salt in it before steaming.
  5. Now pour this batter into greased 177-diameter thali.
  6. Steam it in a steamer for 10 to 12 minutes and set it aside.
  7. Take a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add oil to it.
  8. When heated up the oil add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and asafoetida and sauté well on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  9. Then add green chillies to it and sauté well.
  10. Pour this tempering over moong dal dhokla and sprinkle coriander leaves on top.
  11. Cut the moong dal dhokla into pieces and serve with green chutney.
