Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has finally arrived and brought some amazing moves, cool collectibles, and many more things. This new sequel has brought back some old memories and players are so excited to experience it as well. Crash Bandicoot is among the most popular franchises of all time. The characters in the game Crash, Coco, Cortex, Neo, Aku, and girlfriend of Crash – Twana are some popular characters from the series. Indeed, the Crash Bandicoot 4 has brought new elements in the game, but players can still find plenty of things that belong to the original Crash.

In Crash Bandicoot 4 gems are some essential collectibles that players have to find. Before completing the game 100%, players have to find all Green, Red, and Blue gems. Finding unique gems is not going to be an easy task for the players, so players have to look into every possible area to locate these gems. There are a total of four types of special gems in the game, but finding three of them is going to be difficult for every player.

Locate the Red Gem

While playing Crash Bandicoot 4, first of all, players have to start searching for a red gem. The red gem is located at the N. Sanity Island Map on the second level N. Sanity Peak. While playing the following level, you’ll find the red gem in the middle of the level just before you acquire Quantum Mask, Lani-Loli. A room that contains the red gem has a total of 9 disappearing blocks that fluctuate between being phasing and solid. Before moving inside the following room, you should pay close attention to the wall drawing near the door with blocks.

The following wall-drawing reveals a grid with 9 squares and arrows that indicates the sequence of the blocks that you need to jump to get the red gem. You need to enter another room and jump over the blocks just as the drawing indicates. While jumping over the blocks, you should be accurate and don’t try to jump on any block twice. If you jump on any block twice, you’ll have to start the jumping sequence once again. Time is a major element in Crash Bandicoot, and here’s also you have to be ensured to have perfect timing.

When you jump on the right block, you’ll hear chiming audio. If you don’t hear any audio, then it means you’re making a mistake in sequence and need to start it once again. If you successfully jump on the sequence, the red gem will spawn. However, to obtain it, you have to complete the whole level. Once you acquire it, you’ll get the “Ruby Red” achievement trophy.

Locate the Green Gem

The second gem that players have to find is the green gem. You can find it at the Hazardous Wastes area on Hit the Road level. At the end of the Hit the Road level, you have to enter inside a steel ball and start rolling away from the N. Gin’s truck. After the rolling session over, Crash will come out by breaking the steel ball. Once you’re out of the steel ball, you have to look for a single trash can on the left side of the display. You simply need to attack the following trash can by spinning, and a lever will come out of it. Just hit the switch in front of you and a remote-controlled car will showup through other bins.

Now all you need to do is spin rapidly, and the car will touch the nearby nitro crate. Once the car touches the nitro crate, the crate will explore. There you’ll find your second green gem. You can collect that green gem, but to add it to your achievement, you have to finish the level. Once you complete the level, you’ll find the Emerald Gemerald achievement trophy of Crash Bandicoot 4.

Locate the Blue Gem

As compared to the red and green gems, finding the blue gem will be slightly easy for the players. To locate the blue gem, you have to enter the Draggin’ On at the level of Tranquility Falls. Once you enter the level, you just need to avoid all the crates. To acquire the blue gem, you have to finish the level without destroying any crate. There are a total of 139 crates in the Draggin’ On level, and you have to avoid all of them. So while playing this level, you have to prepare your mind to avoid all the crates and not to destroy any crate, including the nitro crate.

You can check the number of crates by pressing the LT/L2 key, and it will display the number of crates available and how many of them are destroyed. If you find the number above zero, then you have to restart the level. You’ll find plenty of enemies before reaching the end of the level, and you need to be careful. Performing any careless attack can put you in trouble, so make sure to have a proper mindset.

Gems are the major part of Crash Bandicoot 4. In a single-level players can find 6 gems but they have to collect Wumpa Fruit. After collecting enough gems, players can unlock some unique skins for Crash and Coco.

Apart from Gems, there are a total of 21 flashback tape levels available in Crash Bandicoot 4. These levels are more challenging than collecting the gems. However, finishing the flashback tapes offer the players special relics that help the players to complete the game 100%.
